Believe it or not, December is here! And that means that Christmas is only a few weeks away. I am certain that everyone already has plans for how they are going to spend their Christmas celebrating with their family and friends. However, don’t miss this great opportunity to celebrate with your team as well!
If you haven’t already, let me encourage you to plan a Christmas Party for your team. Reserve a party room at a restaurant, let everyone bring their spouse, and enjoy a meal together (and let the church pick up the tab!). Afterwards, head over to someone’s house to enjoy coffee and desserts, to play games together, and to do a fun gift swap. Our staff always does a Dirty Santa gift swap, and it always creates lots of laughs.
And finally, use this as an opportunity to bless your team. This is when we hand out our Christmas bonuses every year, and it always puts a smile on everyone’s face.
