2027 Pledge/Giving Instructions

Below are three options (A, B, or C) for submitting your 2027 Golden Legacy - Generosity that Shines pledge and for setting up recurring giving.

NEW THIS YEAR >>> You have the opportunity to choose the IRA Pledge option if you are giving from an IRA. If you have questions regarding giving from an IRA, please contact Jan (email below).

Please note that making a pledge does not automatically enroll you in recurring giving. You must do that separately if you wish to make recurring contributions (instructions below).

Pledges and recurring giving can be changed at any time and are confidential. If you have any questions, contact Jan Gavle (financialsecretary@tllc.org) for financial questions, or Tracy Wells (tracy@tllc.org) for technical questions.

A.  Digital using your cell phone

  1. For General Fund Pledge: Text or click the keyword: PLEDGEGEN27 to 512-346-5683.

       1.5 Text or click keyword: PLEDGEGENIRA27 to pledge using an IRA distribution.

  2. A link will be returned to you. Click on that link.

  3. You will be prompted to fill out a form for your GENERAL FUND pledge. Click CONTINUE to submit the form.

  4. Next, you will be given the opportunity to set up recurring giving. If you used the IRA option, this is the end of the process. You must contact your financial institution to set up distributions using an IRA.

     a. If you already have a recurring giving account set up in ChurchTeams and do not wish to change the recurring giving amount, close the page and continue to step 6. If you set up a date range for your recurring giving last year that will end soon, you will need to set up a new date range. 

     b. If you wish to set up or change your recurring giving, continue to step 5.

     c. If you wish to skip recurring giving at this time, close the page and continue to step 6.

  5. To set up or change recurring giving

     a. Setting up a FIRST TIME recurring giving account - fill out the form, click RECURRING, then CONTINUE. Continue filling out your financial institution information and follow the instructions to complete setting up your giving account.

     b. To CHANGE your current recurring giving account, click the LOGIN button (top right), proceed with your login info, then click MANAGE your account. Scroll up/down & left/right to see the full page of information. To change your recurring giving amount and/or fund designation, click the pencil icon button next to what you want to change. If the date range is set to end soon, you will need to set up a new recurring giving account by clicking the GREEN button at the top of the page and repeat with step 5a. Set a new date range to start on the date of your choice. You do not have to delete the old giving account if the end date will expire before the new one starts. 

  6. For Building Fund Pledge: Text or click the keyword: PLEDGEBUILD27 to 512-346-5683. Repeat from step 2 for your Building Fund pledge. Gifts to the Building Fund will be set aside for future building projects.

       6.5 Text or click keyword: PLEDGEBUILDIRA27 to pledge using an IRA distribution.

  7. To view your ChurchTeams giving account at any time,

     a. Using your cell phone - text the keyword: ME to 512-346-5683, click on the GIVING tab, click MANAGE. Scroll up/down & left/right to see the full page of information.

     b. On your computer - go to our website www.tllc.org/mychurchteams and proceed with your login info, click MANAGE, click MY GIVING. Scroll up/down & left/right to see the full page of information.

 

B.  Digital using your computer

Click our website link: www.tllc.org/pledge. There are blue buttons labeled “Pledge to General Fund”, “Pledge to General Fund using IRA”, “Pledge to Building Fund”, and “Pledge to Building Fund using IRA”. Click one and follow the above instructions (A) beginning at step 3.

 

C.  Paper Pledge Form

Print and fill out the paper form below and drop it off or mail it to the church office.
