Hall-O-Ween Volunteers

Thanks so much for being willing to serve and be a welcoming face to our community!  This year's Hall-O-Ween event will be held on Wednesday, October 28th.

Here is a breakdown of the evening:
  • 5:00-5:30pm - Volunteer Dinner & decorate tables for trick-or-treating
  • 5:30-7:00pm - Dinner for the community
  • 5:30-6:00pm - Sensory-friendly trick-or-treating
  • 6:00-7:00pm - Community trick-or-treating

Below are descriptions of each volunteer spot to better help you decide where you'd like to serve:

Table Sponsors will decorate a table (optional) and pass out candy to the kids that come through.  Please let me know if you need special accommodations (like electric outlets).  Please bring enough candy to start (for about 200) and then our "runners" will resupply you throughout the event. Please plan to arrive around 5:00 to set up/decorate and be ready by 5:30pm. The “Sensory Friendly” event starts at 5:30 pm and we need to start those kids through ON TIME, to be able to accommodate their needs and get them through before the larger group opens up and starts at 6pm.

Parking Lot Attendants*: help direct traffic in the parking lot.

Greeters*:
will be set up in the upper Community Center lobby (sensory-friendly time) and Narthex by the Worship Center (community time).  There will be a Food Collection Cart for donations at the Connection Center.  You will have a sheet of instructions to let the visitors know the flow of the evening.

Prayer Team
: kids/families can write prayer requests on post-its and clothespin it to the board, AND receive prayer if they would like, before they leave.

Candy Runners

Carnival Games/ Coloring: facilitate the games, help anyone with questions, make sure the coloring just happens on the coloring sheets.

Tear Down
: Tear down will be tables and trash. **Anyone willing to hang around is welcome to help us with Tear Down!! It goes quick.
