Statement of Faith

1. We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 2. We believe the Bible is God�s Word; it is divinely inspired, without error, and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. 3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to secure our salvation; his bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His promised return to earth in power and glory. 4. We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit; that He performs the miracle of new birth in unbelievers, indwells believers, and enables them to live godly lives. 5. We believe mankind was created in the image of God, but because of sin was alienated from God. 6. We believe salvation is possible through faith in Jesus Christ alone, whose sinless life, atoning death and resurrection from the dead are the basis of our redemption. 7. We believe God created mankind as male and female, in his own image with equal dignity before God, each having distinct God-given roles of equal value and significance. 8. We believe God designed marriage to be a life-long covenant between a man and a woman, in which they are to be exclusive and complementary partners.
