Confirmation is a part of Youth Wednesday, for those who want to be confirmed in their 9th grade (or older) year. But requirements working toward that begin in 6th grade. For 6th, 7th and 8th grade, to work toward confirmation means fulfilling additional requirements throughout the year. For those in 9th grade or older who want to be confirmed, there are additional requirements plus classroom instruction during Youth Wednesday that is geared toward being confirmed.
