Please note, if you are volunteering for a position working with minors you must be able to pass a federal background check and complete a Child Safety Training. Those who have been convicted of a sexual offense will not be considered. Information regarding the background check and Child Safety Training will be communicated to each applicant after their volunteer application is completed. All background checks and Child Safety Trainings must be completed NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 22nd.
For those signing up for the Praise Team or Children's Ministry you will be required to adhere to, and sign, the guidelines in the AOC Leadership Pledge (see below).
Please be advised that anyone chosen to be a team leader for 2024 will be required to attend two mandatory meetings: the Team Leader's Meeting after service on Sunday, October 8th and the 2024 Planning Meeting on December 2nd at 11AM.
You will be notified of your volunteer application status the week of October 2nd via email or text. Those signing up for the Praise Team will be required to complete a try out at a later date.
