Boones Creek Christian Church is hosting International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES) and its volunteers from across the U.S. to help with hurricane flood relief in our area.
Workers are staying at the BCCC Youth Center, 315 Christian Church Rd. Johnson City, TN. BCCC will be coordinating meals each night, Monday-Friday, for the volunteers. We are asking for individuals, churches, and organizations to help provide meals for these volunteers who are serving our region.
Dates to provide a meal will be posted 3 months at a time. You can sign up for one meal per month, one a week, or on individual designated day(s). We are asking that anyone who provides a meal to arrive by 5:45pm, serve the workers at 6:00pm, and clean up afterwards (use downstairs entrance next to the white shower trailer).
Depending on the week, there may be anywhere between 5-25 individuals to prepare for. You will be contacted in advance of your selected date with a more accurate number of how many to prepare for.
