Childcare sign-up for women attending the 2026 Women's Conference hosted by Capital City Baptist Church.
Ages accepted - childcare is available for children from the ages of 18 months to 12 years old. Mamas with infants are welcome to have them in the conference with them. There is a changing table in the front lobby restroom.
As we cannot exceed a specific ratio of children to volunteers, there is a maximum of 21 kids that can be accepted for the conference. Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Cost - Childcare is available for $10 per child whether attending one day or two. As the $10 is for supplies that will be purchased in advance, there will be no refunds for cancellations after Friday, September 4th. The conference itself is free for ladies to attend.
Communication - Parents will receive a text for diaper changes, for a child that needs bathroom assistance, or if a child needs mom for another reason. For this reason, we ask that moms keep their cell phones on vibrate so the childcare volunteers can reach them during the conference.
Food - No food will be provided. Please pack a lunch and snacks (maybe a breakfast item for Saturday), plus a refillable water thermos. Ice packs are recommended to keep food cool. Please label all items with your child's name. Due to allergies, please make sure to not pack anything with nuts. Again, no nuts!
What to expect - A bible day camp that matches the Women's Conference theme of "Peace through the storm." There will be bible stories, organized play, free play inside and outside (gated playground), crafts, coloring, music, and quiet time. Close toed shoes are recommended as the outdoor play area has woodchips. If your child needs a special blanket or lovey for quiet time, feel free to bring it but please label it to help ensure it gets home. Please do not bring any toys!
Times - You can drop-off your kids Friday as early as 9am with the conference starting at 10am and we ask that you pick them up by 5:15pm with the conference ending at 5pm.
On Saturday, you can drop-off your kids as early as 8am with the breakfast starting at 8:15am and ask that you pick them up by 2:15pm with the conference ending at 2pm.
