MIX is a five-day summer camp uniquely designed for middle school students. It is intentionally crafted in ways they engage through tactile, interactive, and fun activities coupled with Bible-based teaching and small group interaction.
MIX is an event that understands middle school students need their own experience. This age group is at a particular time in their lives – they’re growing and learning differently than any other age group. They are still young enough to need to play but old enough to start understanding some core ideals that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
For this reason, MIX isn’t designed for high school students or preteens. It’s specifically designed for middle school students – it’s their chance to be exactly who they are: to play, listen and learn as themselves.

It’s also created for adult leaders to build relationships with students that will last long after the MIX experience. At MIX, your middle schooler will come to understand their identity in God’s Kingdom and be challenged to embrace the Kingdom work He has prepared for them.

WHO CAN ATTEND MIX? Current 6th and 7th grade students.
WHERE IS MIX? We will drive vans to Upland, Indiana, and stay at Taylor University, where our very own Matthew Stemple graduated from! The beautiful campus offers delicious meals, clean bathrooms, a lake, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, and a convenience store. Taylor even has its own Chick Fil A! Students enjoy buying specialty coffees and drinks at The Jumping Bean.
WHEN IS MIX? SUNDAY, June 28-July 2, 2026.
HOW MUCH IS MIX? It costs about $599 to transport our students to and from Taylor University, pay a camper's expenses, buy t-shirts, provide Wednesday lunch, Thursday breakfast, admission to the water park, bring six adult volunteer leaders (who take their vacation time to attend!), and all the other things it takes to provide this event.
First, you will fill out this registration for us, The Chapel, and pay the $70 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
The next registration is where you will actually register your middle schooler(s).
Later this month we'll send you a link to the Christ In Youth (CIY) MIX Emergency Medical Release Form.
