Our series through the life of Daniel gave students a ton to think about regarding their choices and how they live. Groups hit their end-of-the-year stride with tons of meaningful conversations and fun! The Fast Food was a highlight, especially Mr. Frick's supplying the VIP rides. And Grad Brunch provided a space for celebration, reflection, and conversation.

The school year is quickly winding down, and Summer is fast approaching. With that comes one major change in FSM -- Promotion

The Class of 2026 is welcome to continue participating in FSM through Summer Camp until school starts back in Kent! That means their last day with us is Sunday, August 23rd.

UPCOMING EVENTS

(HS) In & Out: The Hunt

Friday, June 5th

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This is our final In & Out of the school year and our first for promoting 8th-grade students (incoming freshmen)!

Pizza and The Hunt! What is The Hunt? It's a non-stop scavenger hunt throughout Kent, Covington, and beyond! Students will load up (in church vans and leaders’ vehicles driven by adult volunteers), head out, hunt, and compete, knowing only one team can be crowned the winner!

This month, registration is required.

Since we are headed off campus:

1. Registration is required
2. Every student will need a 2026 Release Form. This form is good for the calendar year!
3. We will leave campus around 6:15 PM; students must be on time for this event. If you will be late, please email jake@faithkent.org to see if an alternative plan can be worked out.

Drop-off and pick-up for this event are in the High School Room at Faith, starting at 5:45 PM.

(MS) Meet in the Middle PLUS

Friday, June 12th

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Friday, June 12th, is our last Meet in the Middle of the school year. It's the final Middle School event for outgoing 8th graders and the first Middle School event for our incoming 6th graders.

We have a great night with dinner, games, laser tag, an obstacle course, orb soccer, and more.

Registration is required for this event. The cost ($25) includes fun extras, dinner, and all the snacks they can eat! As always, if the cost is an issue please email denise@faithkent.org.

Drop off and pick up are at Faith Church, Main Lobby.

Seriously, what more could you ask for: pancakes, syrup, and bacon? Join us at The Gathering for breakfast and a special service to start summer off right!

Join us at the Covington Applebee's for one of our favorite High School events, Late Night Apps!

Bring money ($15-$20) for your meal, grab a friend, and enjoy some time with your FSM fam.

Groups are where students cultivate real relationships with God, each other, and our leaders. It’s out of these relationships that purposeful conversations, life change, and discipleship can happen.

Together, we dig into God’s Word, and through purposeful conversation, we make its truth tangible. Groups are where students wrestle tough topics, study scripture, and pray together, all in pursuit of growing with God.

Groups return Wednesday, September 16th

The Gathering is for 6th-12th grade students. We gather to worship together, take a look at God’s word, and have some fun! The Gathering is a great place to get to know God and meet some new people. Join us on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 AM service in the High School Room (on the northwest side of the campus).

Who You Are is a series written by our team for our students. Over the next four weeks, we will address the masks we wear, the perfectionsim we hide behind, and the reality that when we put those things first ... that's what gets loved. Life with God is one where we can be fully known and loved more because of it. We'll look at the Creation Story, the disciples, and the woman at the well, on our way to discovering who we are and how deeply God loves us.
