Our Homecoming Weekend wraps up on Sunday with our special guest speaker Rev. Ruth Jensen-Forbell. Joy is a constant when rooted in faith. Happiness is fleeting and so often based on circumstances. Join us as we highlight the difference between mood-driven happiness and a true joy that permeates the sanctified life.

Homecoming Weekend

If you have registered for our Homecoming Weekend event, we look forward to seeing you this weekend! Our kickoff session will begin this Friday at 6:00pm. Please arrive a few minutes early to get checked in and to pick up your registration packet.

October Celebration Potluck

Our Homecoming Weekend will wind up with our Celebration Luncheon honoring all October birthdays and anniversaries. The Hospitality Team has set the theme of "Comfort Food" for the luncheon. Bring your favorite dish to share or pick up a gallon of tea or some 2L sodas. Everyone is invited to join in the fellowship!

Michael McFerrin Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life for Michael McFerrin will be held at Cornerstone on Saturday, October 12 at 11:00am. The service will be followed by a time of fellowship and remembrance in the Freeman House. Lunch will be provided but if you would like to contribute a cake or pie for dessert, please let Pastor Sara know by clicking here

Trunk or Treat

We will be celebrating Halloween with a Trunk or Treat event on Halloween night! Participation can be in a number of ways including decorating your vehicle or a table or helping those who do by purchasing some Halloween treats to share with our guests. A sign up sheet is available on the Holy Grounds Coffee Bar table. Sign up and join in the fun!

Excel of the Sand Dollar

Information on Excel of the Sand Dollar is on the table in the Holy Grounds Coffee Bar. This is a weekend retreat focused on Christian living. The event will be hosted at Camp Beckwith near Fairhope.

Seeds of Faith Announcement

Our Seeds of Faith schedule has changed. Freddie Miller will teach on 1st Sundays, Amber Waters on 2nd Sundays, Kay Hedgepeth on 3rd Sundays, Amber Waters on 4th Sundays, and the children stay in big church on 5th Sundays each month. We are looking for people to accompany the teachers and children to their classroom every week. If you are interested, please speak with one of our teachers.
