| Scripture: Matthew 17:1-9
It has been said that there are only two guarantees in life...death and taxes. I propose that there is a third guarantee...change. Nothing on this earth lasts forever as the death of screen icon Betty White proved! Change is inevitable! Take our Mobile weather, for example, if you don't like it just wait 5 minutes! This week's scripture tells us of a drastic change in Jesus' life. Join us as we take a trip up the mountain with him and learn the lesson that sometimes the way up is down.

During the week of February 10–16, Cornerstone MCC will be partnering with visiting photographer Tim Barrick, who travels around North America offering accessible portrait photography to the communities he visits. Tim will also join us for our Worship Service on February 15th. Tim will be hosting Pay-What-You-Can mini portrait sessions for individuals, couples, and families. As part of the visit, he’ll also be gifting Cornerstone MCC updated photos for our website and social media. These sessions will take place at Avenue of the Oaks on Saturday, February 14th. | Spiritual Seekers Calendar |
The Journey prayer circle is taking a break during Mardi Gras. We will resume our Tuesday night gathering after the Carnival Season ends.

| Outreach Ministry Calendar |
Our Outreach Ministry has several opportunities for us to get involved outside the four walls of the church, and they are always looking for volunteers! The following is a monthly schedule of opportunities.
Every Wednesday at 5pm: Tillman's Corner Outreach (Feeding the Homeless) 1st Tuesday of Every Month at 7:30am: Love All Food Pantry 3rd Tuesday of Every Month at 7:30am: Love All Food Pantry Please consider one (or more) of these opportunities to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus. |

Our prayer initiative in 2026 is well underway and has already shown God is at work in our midst. Pick up a slip of paper from the altar and pray for the outpouring of one of the aspects of the Spirit on our church for a month. Then sit back and watch God do it! |

Mardi Gras Parking Fundraiser |
Our Mardi Gras Parking Fundraiser has been going strong but there are a few days left before we reach the end. If you haven't signed up to volunteer, please do it now. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and the money is always used to make improvements to our campus and to cover expenses when the tithes and offerings don't. |

Our Faith Forward Youth Ministry is seeking teachers to offer instruction to our young people one week each month. The lessons are prepared ahead of time and are easy to present. Please contact Kay Hedgepeth if you have a call to ministry with our kids. |

| Hearts in Harmony Fundraising Event |
Our Board of Directors is sponsoring a fundraiser to assist Pat Hamilton with a huge co-pay for her upcoming surgery. The event we're calling Hearts in Harmony will be a seated dinner on Saturday, February 28. The tickets are $25 each and will go on sale this week. We believe this is an opportunity for four of the Spiritual Gifts we are praying for to be made real in our church...Hospitality, Generosity, Unity and Compassion. Please make plans to join us for this demonstration of love in action.
