Happy New Year! Now that the holidays are coming to a close and a new year is beginning, now is an excellent time to evaluate some of the key systems that you use on a regular basis. This month, I want to take a moment to highlight one of my favorite systems, our church management software… Churchteams.
Finding the right church management software can be difficult, especially if you are new to the role of XP. Most churches are using a church management software, but I don’t often find people who are truly satisfied. Rather, many people are disappointed or frustrated in their church management software because it is lacking in features, hard to use, expensive, out-of-date, or the company has bad customer service and isn’t helpful when you need them the most.
This was my situation about a decade ago. I used to be at a church in South Carolina, and the software we used was terrible. For example, there are several large competitors that have a frustrating process that you have to go through when you need help. These competitors make you open a support ticket online (they won’t answer the phone), and they make you wait 24-48 hours for a response. And usually, their initial response isn’t very helpful, which delays your issue even further. This is not the case with Churchteams. The staff at Churchteams responds quickly, and they provide personalized customer service, providing you with the help you need as quickly as possible. And, unlike their competitors, they will answer the phone if you call.
