NO Midweek Worship

We will not have midweek worship on Wednesday, July 22. Midweek worship will resume NEXT Wednesday, July 29.

Help us Serve our Preschool!

Our Preschool needs our help! We need help moving classroom furniture back into the classroom. Come for a little bit or until the job is done! 

With a lot of helping hands we can move all the classroom furniture in no time! Youth can even earn service hours. 

We will meet in the Preschool lobby at 9:30am.

Journey with Us!

Do you enjoy being in a small group? We are looking for at least 2-3 people who are interested in small group ministry to be part of the Journey Group Leadership Team. The time requirement would be approximately 1-2 hours a month (maybe less). The purpose is to promote and support the various Journey Groups of the congregation. If interested, please email Gordon Besel or call (479) 531-5079.

Senior Games Day

JOIN the seniors of OSL each month for an afternoon of fun and games! Regularly played are 42 and Mexican train. Other games will be played depending on the availability of players. Meet at 1:00pm – 4:00pm in the OSL lobby on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. We will meet on Tuesday, July 28. Bring a snack to share and a refreshment, then join in for dinner at a local restaurant. Questions? Contact Helen Whalen, 972-742-2531.

 NEW! Dallas Metro Relief

THIS Saturday, July 25

8:30am - 2:30pm, Dallas

We have another great opportunity to put our faith into action as we serve the homeless community in Dallas. Youth and adults are welcome to join us!

We will travel with Dallas Metro Relief to downtown Dallas serving lunch, distributing hygiene kits, and sharing the Gospel with those in need. What a great opportunity to use our God-given gifts to bless others and point them to Jesus Christ the Provider of ALL our needs. You must RSVP with Dave Carpenter to reserve a spot on the bus for this exciting service opportunity.

We will meet at Dallas Metro Relief by 8:30am. We will return to OSL at 2:30pm. Dallas Metro Relief is located at 5201 S Colony Blvd #545, The Colony, TX.

If you would like to donate supplies to this ministry, they are in need of: Travel-size deodorant, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, and Razors. A box is located in the church office for your convenience.

Little Hearts of Hope

"Christmas in July Drive"

Please join us during July for our Supply Drive in support of LITTLE HEARTS OF HOPE ministry. We will be collecting Teddy Bears to be included in CHRISTMAS HOPE KITS for children who have a parent or sibling facing the diagnosis of cancer. We have an opportunity to help this wonderful ministry provide HOPE to these precious elementary and middle school students. A HOPE only found in our Lord Jesus Christ. If you would like to serve our Lord and neighbors by donating to these HOPE kits please go to Buy A Bear. (new bears!)
