VISION: Youth, College and Young Adults are invited to go to Himeji Japan and participate in a conversational English meetings with students and adult that have a deep desire to learn English. This is the door God has provided us to begin to share our story about the greatest gift of salvation with them.
OVERVIEW: The mission of this team is to look, see, and hear every opportunity to share the gospel. We will be prayer walking and having conversations with other students and adults in English with the intentions of sharing the Love of Christ. Assisting the missionaries there with various activities and to build credibility with the Japanese people we come in contact with. Spencer Rice is in language school training and preparing to plant a church in the next few years with the support of Central and Word Baptist partnering together to reach Asia with the gospel.
There are basically two religious systems that have had the most influence in Japan, Shinto and Buddhism. People should expect to use English as a way to meet people and draw interest. We do a lot of things that are focused on English conversation as a way to meet people and open the conversation.
PRICE: $3,515 Includes in-country food, airfare, housing, and transportation per person but the price may fluctuate depending on the price of fuel at the time of purchase of airline tickets. Does not include meals in route to and from the field of service, in airports and to and from airports. Application plus 10% deposit required before team airline reservations can be made.
