How to remove a misplaced logo on your check-in label

With the latest versions of Chrome and Edge (137), there is a bug that shifts the logo up on some labels and it can overlap the data on the label.  If you are not using a logo on your security tags, this does not affect you but if you are, here is how to remove your logo until Microsoft and Google fixes that bug. We have submitted the bug to Google and Microsoft but do not have a timeframe for when it will be fixed.

Normally when starting check-in you would use the Check-in shortcut icon you created on your desktop and not the Chrome/Edge icon found under the Start menu.  However, to remove your logo you need to access the print dialogue box and so you do need to use the use the Start Menu to start Chrome/Edge.

  1. Make sure all instances of Chrome/Edge are completely closed.
  2. Click on your Start menu and search for Chrome/Edge and open it from there.  DO NOT use the normal check-in shortcut.
  3. Once open, login to Churchteams and start check-in.
  4. After you check someone in, the print dialogue box should stay up and so you can click to make the window full screen to see the settings more easily.  Then click on "More Settings", as shown below, and uncheck Background Graphics.
  5. Print the label to save your settings and then completely close your browser.
  6. Close all instances of Chrome/Edge and now you can use the normal desktop shortcut and it should auto print as it did before but now without the logos.
