The holiday season can be a great time of gathering with family and friends. Holiday dinners can be filled with great joy but our country seems more divided than ever. This division often boils over into family gatherings. It is all too common for us to see the world in very different ways than our friends and even family members see it. For the next few weeks, we will discuss some of the differences we may have with friends and family and learn to discuss them with charity and kindness.

OSL Fall Baby Shower

Ladies, you’re invited!

Every spring and fall, OSL’s LWML chapter and Moms Group host a special baby shower for moms who are pregnant or have recently welcomed a little one. This is a beautiful way to reach out to new moms and remind them how much we and Jesus care about them!

We’d love for all ladies to attend and be part of the celebration.

Community Garden Kitchen

Our Savior Lutheran youth and adults have another opportunity to serve our Lord and Savior by loving our neighbor. We will assemble and distribute sack lunches at the Kitchen. Please plan to meet us at the Community Garden Kitchen (501 Howard St, McKinney). 

We will also collect needed supplies to make the lunches. Please consider donating to this special ministry in our community.

NEW! Dallas Metro Relief

Saturday, October 11

8:30am - 2:30pm, Dallas

We will travel with Dallas Metro Relief to downtown Dallas serving lunch, distributing hygiene kits, and sharing the Gospel with those in need. What a great opportunity to use our God-given gifts to bless others and point them to Jesus Christ the Provider of ALL our needs.

You must RSVP with Dave Carpenter to reserve a spot on the bus for this exciting service opportunity.

We will meet at Dallas Metro Relief by 8:30am. We will return to OSL at 2:30pm. Dallas Metro Relief is located HERE. (5201 S Colony Blvd #545, The Colony, TX)

If you would like to donate supplies to this ministry, they are in need of

travel size: Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and razors.

Palladium Storytime

Want to share God's Word with Children? Join our team to help lead storytime. Sign up for any dates that work with your schedule. There will be snacks, a Bible story book, and a craft/activity. All supplies and materials will be provided.
