Saturday, September 7, 2024: Connections Breakfast |
CFC Veteran Ministry participants (Veterans, Service members, family members and volunteers) meet for a fellowship breakfast on the first Saturday of each month. The September breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024, 8:00 - 9:00 AM.
Please bring an appetite and start your weekend with prayer and fellowship, connecting with new and old friends! We meet at the Friendship Diner, a favorite local eatery for Veterans and their families.
There is no need to sign up, just come to the restaurant and let the host/hostess know you are with the CFC Veteran Ministry Saturday 'Connections Group.' This is a pay your own way breakfast event; however, the Friendship Diner does offer a discount on your meal if you are a Veteran/military. Sunday, September 8, 2024: Monthly CFC Veteran Ministry Fellowship and Coffee |
Our next fellowship and coffee event is scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2024. We hold these get togethers at CFC before and after Sunday church services (but not before the 8:00 AM service) outside The Gathering room, once a month. This month we are celebrating the Air Force's (AF's) birthday! September 18, 2024, marks the 77th birthday of the AF. "Aim High . . . Fly-Fight-Win!"
Please come meet fellow Veterans, Service members (Active duty, Reserve, and National Guard), and their loved ones to spend some time together, enjoy a cup of coffee, juice, and snack. - and be encouraged! |
Tuesday, September 10, 2024: CFC Veteran Ministry Steering Committee / Supporter Meeting |
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the CFC Veteran Ministry Steering Committee will hold its monthly meeting from 6:00 - 7:30 PM in the CFC Main Conference Room (take an immediate right after entering through Entrance A doors). The Steering Committee is seeking additional committee volunteers, as well as those who wish to support the ministry through a less formal role.
Attending the monthly meetings will give you the chance to hear what the ministry is all about! Veterans (to include active duty, Reserves, and National Guard Service members), loved ones, and non-Veteran volunteers are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting and participate. Please join us on Tuesday, September 10 @6:00 PM and share your talents! |
