Lead Pastor: Lyrist (Miranda) Yip |
PRAISE POINTS
We praise God for Rev. Joseph Yeung's 37 years of faithful service to our church. He is now retired.
We are blessed and excited to welcome Pastor Lyrist Yip as our new lead pastor. He has served the Portland Metro area in various capacities for more than 30 years.
We praise God for providing a wonderful location for our recent outdoor fellowship and picnic. Despite the temperature reaching 100°F, a gentle breeze kept us comfortable throughout the event. This was our first outing since the pandemic began.

PRAYER POINTS
We have decided to incorporate more community outreach ministries, beginning with notarization services and a naturalization class. The Chinese community has a great need for these services due to current immigration policies. Please pray for wisdom as we organize these ministries and for guidance in understanding the community's needs so we can plan other meaningful outreach programs.
Starting in September, we will hold a "Gospel Sunday" on the last Sunday of each month. Please pray that unbelievers will accept the invitation and be touched by the Holy Spirit. Also, pray that our members will have the courage to invite their family and friends.
We are starting a new style of prayer meeting on the third Sunday of every month. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will stir the hearts of our members and that this ministry will help revive our church.
Please pray that Pastor Lyrist will quickly understand the needs of the congregation so he can plan suitable discipleship programs. Also, pray that the congregation will adapt to his leadership style, allowing the entire church to move forward together smoothly.
