July 4th, Independence Day, is a national holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. On this day, Americans celebrate the birth of our nation and the founding principles of freedom, liberty, and self-governance. Independence Day is a time to thank God and to reflect on the sacrifices made for the country’s freedom and to honor the enduring spirit of the American people. Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of freedom and for the blessings You have poured upon our nation. On this Independence Day, we remember the courage of those who fought for liberty and ask for Your continued guidance and protection over our country. Help us to be a people who seek justice, love, mercy, and walk humbly with You. May we always shine Your light in our communities, using our freedom to glorify You and serve others in love. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Continue to Pray for 1LT Tom Goode, U.S. Army |
In about a month First Lieutenant (1LT) Tom Goode is expected to return home from his unit's 9 mos. deployment overseas! Please continue to pray for Tom as we await his return.
Gracious Lord, We lift up 1LT Tom Goode to You as he serves faithfully during his unit's overseas deployment. Surround him with Your protection, strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit, and guide his every step. Fill him with courage, wisdom, and peace that surpasses understanding. Keep him safe from harm and bring him home in Your perfect time.
We also pray for Tom's family as they await his return on the homefront. Comfort them with Your presence, calm their hearts with Your peace, and give them strength for each day. Remind them that You are watching over Tom and that You are ever near. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |
