Scripture: Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23
Seeds are about life. They hold possibility and potential. They get things started. They are a beginning. They carry our hopes. They are a commitment to the future. There are all sorts of seeds – seeds of love, friendship, compassion, forgiveness; seeds of vulnerability and intimacy; seeds of hope and change; seeds of success and accomplishment; seeds of truth, healing, and justice. There are also seeds of anger, resentment, discord, and division; seeds of judgment, indifference, fear, and hatred. Every feeling, emotion, attitude, and experience we have comes with a packet of seeds and we each have to decide if that’s really what we want to scatter on the earth, in Mobile, in our families and friendships. Join us for worship this week as we take a look at what we are planting in our lives.

The Journey is a weekly gathering for prayer. Everyone is invited to join in the discussion and time of prayer. The meeting is held in the Freeman House at 6:30PM on Tuesdays.

Spirit Seekers 26 is our corporate prayer initiative for the year. We are focusing on praying for the Holy Spirit to pour out gifts of hospitality, forgiveness, peace, unity, compassion and generosity on our church. Take a slip of paper from the boat on the altar and pray for that specific gift for a month. Then, swap it out for another gift. Let the Spirit loose here at Cornerstone! |

| University of South Alabama Simulation Program |
University of South Alabama's Standardized Patient Program is looking to hire individuals 18-80+ to act as patients for our nursing and medical school students to interact with during learning scenarios, exams, etc., to get hands-on experience in a safe environment.
Currently, they are desperately trying to round out our collection of Standardized Patients. They currently have a disproportionate number of white females, and they are working to make the team more balanced and representational of our community at large. I truly feel like our students should have a large and varied pool of standardized patients to interact with to fully prepare them for their chosen careers.
We are in need of gentlemen; we are in need of members of the LGBTQ+ community and all minorities.
