Midweek Worship TODAY!

We will have midweek worship on June 3, 10, 17.

We will not have midweek worship on Wednesdays, June 24 and July 1, 8, 15, 22. Midweek worship will resume July 29.

Senior Games Day

JOIN the seniors of OSL each month for an afternoon of fun and games! Regularly played are 42 and Mexican train. Other games will be played depending on the availability of players. Meet at 1:00pm – 4:00pm in the OSL lobby on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. We will meet on Tuesdays, June 9 & 23. Bring a snack to share and a refreshment, then join in for dinner at a local restaurant. Questions? Contact Helen Whalen at 972-742-2531.

NEW! Readers for Worship

We’re looking for one regular Scripture reader for the 11:00am service to read the first Sunday of each month. 

We’re also building a small team of backup readers for both services—those willing to step in occasionally when needed.

If you love reading Scripture, feel called to grow in this area, or simply want to bless our congregation through the spoken Word, we’d love to have you join us. Your voice could be the one God uses to encourage someone’s heart.

NEW! Community Garden Kitchen

Saturday, June 6

9:00am - 11:00am, McKinney

This ministry blossomed from the discovery that there was no place in Collin County that served prepared, healthy meals on a daily basis. Their goal is to ensure no one in our community be food insecure by serving the over 15% of Collin County residents that live below the poverty line. If you are looking to Help Feed the Hungry by assembling and distributing sack lunches at the Kitchen, please plan to meet us at the Community Garden Kitchen (501 Howard St, McKinney).  A map to their location can be found HERE.  

We will also collect much needed supplies to make the lunches.  

Please consider donating HERE to this special ministry in our community. 

We will have a collection box in the church entry for your convenience, or you can bring them with you on June 6th.

Join our team to help pack hundreds of breakfast bags for the folks in our community. The number of items has increased so please consider serving on this team! This is a wonderful time to serve.
