Join the seniors of OSL each month for an afternoon of dominoes, bridge, Mexican train, OR bring your favorite game! Meet at 1:00pm – 4:00pm in the OSL lobby on Tuesdays, May 13 and 27 , for an afternoon of fun! Bring a snack to share and a refreshment, then join in for dinner at a local restaurant.

OSL Children's Ministry is making corsages to honor all the moms and grandmas out there. Stop by the table in the lobby on Mother's Day (8:00am - 11:00am) to pick up a free corsage for a special loved one. We will be collecting a free-will offering that will help us provide free t-shirts to the kiddos that come to OSL's VBS this summer. |

Interested in helping us teach Summer Sunday School (June - August)? We have classes ranging from 3 yrs to 4th grade. It's a blast, and all materials and lessons are provided for you! NEW! Young Men's Ministry @ OSL |
Beginning May 28th. Who: Men ages 17-25
What: Relaxed discussion while sitting on tailgates and lawn chairs in the OSL north parking lot. Pastor Mark will lead the discussion, which will center on life, God's Word, and how the two intersect on a daily basis. All topics and questions are fair game! Cold drinks and chips will be provided each week. All you need is your Bible, and a lawn chair or a tailgate! When: Meets twice a month from 7pm-8:30pm (beginning May 28th) Stop by the table in the Lobby to learn more.

NYG & Summer Camp Fundraisers |
OSL Youth have two fundraisers that will be starting next week! We are so excited to have so many of our youth involved in Christ centered activities this Summer. We have 9 youth (between the ages of 8-18) along with 2 adults that are attending Camp Lone Star as part of their PIONEEER program, June 8-13th. Then we have 4 youth (High School age) and 1 adult that are attending Camp Lone Star as part of their DISCOVERY program, June 29-July 4th. Finally, we have 26 youth and 7 adults attending the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, July 19-23rd. So, we will be having a full Summer focused on Christ and our youth are still working on raising funds for all three.
#1 - will be the ENVELOPE FUNDRAISER that is strictly designated for youth that are attending NYG this Summer, and will be displayed in the Lobby.
#2 - will be FLAMINGLE, which is going to be primarily for youth that are attending Camp Lone Star this Summer. |

VBS UPDATE:
We need your HELP!! We have 240 kids already registered for VBS and we still have one month of registration to go. That's 101 kids more than we had this time last year!! Praise God! More kids mean more crew groups, more supplies, and especially MORE VOLUNTEERS. We really need adult crew leaders, adult snack station volunteers, and a couple guitarists. There is something for everyone!! Sign up in the lobby or email Robyn.Bray@oslmckinney.org if you are interested in volunteering.

With over 100 volunteers, it is GREATLY appreciated that you make plans to attend. We will go over this year's program, roles, schedules, and much more!! We can't wait to share God's Word with hundreds of kiddos this summer!! |
