PRAISE POINTS
We praise God for our “Italian Nite” fundraiser for Wild Summer Camp in July at Aldersgate for 6th-12th graders. We had a great turnout with about 90 in attendance for a spaghetti dinner, silent and live auctions. The youth were greeters, waitered the tables and led the program which represented the youth well. $4500 was raised, which will be used to help offset student costs for summer camp with any excess funds going toward future camp(s) and youth programs.
We are grateful for the fundraiser event to support a local single mom of four whose son is undergoing twice-weekly cancer treatments in Portland (see photo below used with permission). One urgent need was for reliable transportation. The market/fundraiser sold locally made coats, baked goods, art, raffle items and more - raising $6000 to purchase a family van.

The Rooted Class has 13 of our younger couples who are building community with discipleship, connection and serving. Young families have been filling the gap at MVF in striving to have a strong and healthy multi-generational church.

PRAYER POINTS
Please pray for several members who are dealing with heavy health concerns.
Please pray for our youth and kids summer ministries: Camp Wild for 6th-12th graders at Aldersgate July 20-23. So far, four FM churches are bringing youth with two other churches providing worship and speaking. What a great event! The Kids Retreat for K-5th graders is August 6-8th (first year replacing VBS.
Please pray for wisdom and discernment for vacant property options.
