As we look ahead with excitement toward Confirmation, we wanted to share the confirmation handbook and key materials with you again—just to make sure everyone has what they need.

Faith Statements & Faith Conversations are scheduled for Mid-August & September

You’ll find the documents we handed out in May listed below. Please take time to review them carefully. The following items need to be completed:

- 24 faith-in-action talk sheets (sermon notes)
- 6 service opportunities 
- Faith Statement or Project, including your Confirmation Bible Verse (more info in attached packet). This must be turned in 24 hours prior to your scheduled conversation. 
- Faith Conversation are scheduled for Mid-August & September with Pastor Adam, Pastor Ann, Julie Vagle or Kiana Temanson. Sign up for a conversation time!

• Gift Book Pages are due October 1st. A way to mark this special milestone that has become tradition at Trinity is the Confirmation Gift Books. These special books have been put together for more than 20 years for Confirmation students. These books are a surprise, so PLEASE do not let your child know about this gift. The books include a letter from the pastors, names of the students in their Confirmation class, a copy of your child’s Faith Statement and Bible verse, a place to put their group Confirmation picture, and affirmations/notes from friends and relatives.

• Confirmation Rehearsal & Photos are on October 8th. Confirmands and parents are expected to attend. Youth should dress nicely for individual and confirmation class photos. Photos will be gifted to students on Confirmation Sunday.

• 9th Grade Retreat is October 11-12 at Camp Wapo.  All current 9th graders are expected to attend. If you are unable to attend, please reach out.

• Confirmation Sunday is October 26th at 11am

Sign up your confirmand for their Faith Conversation with Kiana Temanson, Julie Vagle, Pastor Adam or Pastor Ann. Signups must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please be sure their faith statement or project is emailed to Kiana Temanson at least 24 hours prior to their Faith Conversation. If it is a Google doc make sure Kiana has access to open it. The conversations will take place at Trinity. Each conversation will last up to 30 minutes.

We will be following up with students and parents on your status within these expectations. If you feel a conversation is necessary about completing outstanding expectations, please contact Kiana Temanson.

We are here for you and we want everyone who started this program to finish with us in October. It’s a huge milestone for you and your family, but also for our church. We are so fortunate to have young people like you become active, faithful members of this church community. Thank you for all you have given and will continue to give to our life together.
