Our starting point as we come to the Scriptures on the first Sunday of Advent is that despite how it might sometimes feel, God does speak to us. God didn’t just speak to those in days gone by, but God is still speaking and moving in our day. Yes, God speaks to us. And God can speak to us by all possible means. If you wish to exchange Christmas Cards with fellow church members and friends, please place the card in the appropriate box (according to the letter of how the card is addressed). Our December Celebration Sunday is being moved to the 8th because of the Thanksgiving Feast this week. The theme is "Favorite Family Christmas Dish". Please sign up on the clipboard that is being passed around in the sanctuary. |

All of our Seeds of Faith and Foundations of Faith participants are invited to a Holiday Pajama Party (Parent's Night Out!) on Friday, December 13 from 5-9PM. We will have food, fun games, cookie decorating and a Bethlehem Escape Room for a fun night of fellowship. Parents can drop off the kids and get that last minute shopping done, enjoy a relaxing dinner, or whatever they need while we entertain the youngsters. If you would like to donate toward the cost of the evening, please see Pastor Sara.

| Christmas Cookie Exchange |
Our Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange is scheduled for Sunday, December 22 from 6-8PM. Bring a dozen or two of your favorite Christmas goodies to share. We will have music, coffee, hot chocolate, cider, and a special visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus! Each person that visits with Santa will receive a special treat! |

| Attender Survey from UFMCC |
Our congregation, along with other congregations in Metropolitan Community Churches, has been selected to participate in a national study of church attenders in the United States.
This Attender Survey is a part of the Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations (EPIC) project and Faith Communities Today (FACT) research initiative that this denomination participates in. Since 2000, FACT has conducted research that provides religious leaders of all traditions with critical information about the changing nature of congregational life and how to respond effectively. EPIC is a 5-year research project studying changes in the religious landscape since the COVID-19 pandemic.
