| Scripture: Matthew 23:1-15
Join us for worship on Sunday as Emmie Jones fills the pulpit while Pastor Sara is away in Tennessee. Emmie has been called to ministry, and we are blessed to have the opportunity to help her live into that call on her life. Her sermon is focused on rules for thee (and not for me) aka God's law and ministry for the church. ~ Pastor Sara |

| Ministry Team Focus & Spotlight |
Our Ministry Teams are designed to provide opportunities for individuals with a variety spiritual gifts and natural abilities to get more fully engaged in the life of the church. We currently have twelve teams that function together to minister both inside and outside the walls of the church building. Each team is led by someone that has felt a call to facilitate their specific area of ministry. The team leaders meet together on occasion to share their challenges and accomplishments. Working in collaboration across team responsibilities allows our teams to further enhance their effectiveness.
The Faith Forward Children’s Ministry Team seeks to provide Christian education, community service and fellowship opportunities for children ages 5-17. We are currently working on implementing a youth led worship experience for the group each week. This will include their own time of Praise & Worship, prayer time, collection of offerings, and a brief lesson that coincides with the sermon each week. They will, as always, return to the sanctuary to receive Communion with their families. Individuals who enjoy guiding and interacting with children will enjoy this team. Team Leader Emmie Jones is currently seeking individuals to serve one Sunday a month in this vital ministry.
The Thrive Adult Ministry Team seeks to provide Christian educational opportunities for adults. Team Leader Emmie Jones has begun a study on the book of Genesis. |
