Scripture: Matthew 21:33-49
Have you ever had something that you absolutely treasured and then you suddenly lost it? It may have been something really important, something extremely valuable that just sort of slipped out of your hands. You know the old fisherman’s saying, “You should have seen the one that got away!” It’s not just fishermen who say that. We say it about lost jobs, lost dreams, lost opportunities, lost relationships. This Sunday, we are going to hear about the greatest, most important thing we can have...Jesus who is the Cornerstone of our faith.

Ministry Team Focus & Spotlight |
Our Ministry Teams are designed to provide opportunities for individuals with a variety spiritual gifts and natural abilities to get more fully engaged in the life of the church. We currently have twelve teams that function together to minister both inside and outside the walls of the church building. Each team is led by someone that has felt a call to facilitate their specific area of ministry. The team leaders meet together on occasion to share their challenges and accomplishments. Working in collaboration across team responsibilities allows our teams to further enhance their effectiveness.
This week, we are highlighting the Safe Campus Ministry Team. This team provides security for all planned church campus activities. Individuals who are comfortable working behind the scenes to protect others will find a place of service in this ministry. Team Leader Dr. Shelley Mayo is currently seeking affordable, appropriate professional training in church safety protocols for team members. |
