| Scripture: Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38
This Sunday will be the second sermon in a month-long series on giving. Last week, I tried to lay down a theological foundation for giving, and we discussed a couple of reasons why people don’t tithe. Maybe they struggle with God’s OWNERSHIP of all they have and maybe they struggle with God’s LORDSHIP by being obedient to give consistently. This week, I’m not going to be theological; I’m going to be practical or informative. My thesis is this: Giving can and should be fun. Join us and see if you agree!

Outreach Ministry Calendar |
Our Outreach Ministry has several opportunities for us to get involved outside the four walls of the church, and they are always looking for volunteers! The following is a monthly schedule of opportunities. Every Wednesday at 5pm: Tillman's Corner Outreach (Feeding the Homeless)
1st Monday of Every Month at 8m: Love All Food Pantry 2nd Friday of Every Month, 6pm-9pm: Art Walk 3rd Tuesday of Every Month at 7:30am: Love All Food Pantry Please consider one (or more) of these opportunities to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus. |

Our Outreach Ministry will have a booth at Art Walk on Friday, November 7th, 6pm-9pm. Come join us as we tell people about our amazing church and God's inclusive love! |

Our Outreach Ministry will be collecting coats, blankets, socks and gloves for our unhoused population. Please bring any donations to the church on Sundays and the team will deliver them on Wednesdays. |

Feeding Faith, Sharing Love |
With the recent announcement of food assistance being cut, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to have on hand should anyone in our community need assistance. Please bring your donations to the church on Sundays.

Take 5 in 25' Prayer Ministry |
Our Take 5 in 25 prayer initiative has been ongoing for 10 months now. We have lifted up one another in prayer and it has made a great difference in many lives. If you haven't joined the effort, it's not too late. Take a list of names from the basket on the altar and add those people to your daily prayers. We are stronger together! |

Annual Thanksgiving Feast |
Our Hospitality Ministry is starting to plan for our Annual Thanksgiving Feast. Everyone is invited to join us for a great time of fellowship. The church supplies the turkeys, and everyone brings a covered dish. A sign-up sheet will be available on Sunday. Lunch will be served at NOON so get there early enough to get your food on the table. |

Ivy Green, one of our church youngsters, had major spinal surgery this week. Our Pastoral Care Ministry is planning to help her through her 6–8-week recovery with weekly Communion and cheer packages at her home. If you would like to participate by purchasing items, she has set up Ivy's Wish List on Amazon. Items may be delivered directly to her home or, if you prefer, you may purchase items and bring them to worship with you for delivery on our weekly visits.

Annual Congregational Meeting |
Our Annual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for November 23 following worship. We are accepting applications for Board of Directors positions and our Lay Delegate position. See Pastor Sara or Way if you are interested. Applications must be returned by Sunday, November 16. |
