God Has Not Given Up On You

"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." (Philippians 1:6)

Do you have problems with "stick-ability" or completing a task you started? How many of us have a load of "unfinished symphonies," whether they are craft projects, maintenance jobs, or tasks we started but never finished? Not being able to see things through to completion seems to be something so many of us are guilty of.

Aren't you glad God is not like us? 

He not only looks at us in our sin and need and sees a thing of incredible potential, but He is prepared to work with us for the rest of our lives, changing us, as we allow Him access, to become more and more like Him. Then, finally, He will present us to His Father as complete and Christlike, without fault and blameless.

God has begun a masterpiece in your life, and He will bring it to completion also. You are a work in progress, so don't give up. God hasn't given up on you.

Sharing Your Faith

The Sharing Your Faith training continues this Sunday evening at 6:00 PM here at Faith. For the next two Sunday evenings we will be learning how we’ve been uniquely positioned to influence those arounds us for God. This seminar will show you how you can use your everyday life to make a difference with those who don’t know Jesus.

First Responder Meals

On Thursday, October 27, 2022, Faith will be providing free jambalaya meals for all first responders from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This is to honor and say “Thank You” for their sacrifice and dedication to our community in recognition of National First Responder Day. We have opportunities for volunteers to serve in the fellowship room and in the parking lot. Volunteer sign-up sheets are in the foyer.

ABC Pregnancy Resource Center Banquet - November 3

You’re invited to ABC Pregnancy’s Annual Fundraising Benefit “Life Matters” at the West Cal Cam Events Center on November 3rd 6-9pm with dinner, silent auction and special guest Tonya Bailey Jones. Please pray that we will reach children and youth throughout our community with the gospel and engage them in lifelong discipleship. Also, pray that we may be able to get to know their families as well.
