| Sittin' on God's Front Porch |
Scripture: Matthew 10:40-42
We don’t have many front porches anymore. We have decks. They are mostly in backyards. They are usually surrounded by tall fences. So, we are insulated from people we don’t know…and therefore, we never get to know them. If God has a porch, I’ll be it’s out front; right on the street…and God can see the people passing by. God knows their circumstances. God knows their stories of joy and sorrow. God knows everything about them; the good, the bad and the ugly. Join us this week for worship as we take a few minutes to think about sittin' on God's front porch.

The Journey is a weekly gathering for prayer. Everyone is invited to join in the discussion and time of prayer. The meeting is held in the Freeman House at 6:30PM on Tuesdays.

Spirit Seekers 26 is our corporate prayer initiative for the year. We are focusing on praying for the Holy Spirit to pour out gifts of hospitality, forgiveness, peace, unity, compassion and generosity on our church. Take a slip of paper from the boat on the altar and pray for that specific gift for a month. Then, swap it out for another gift. Let the Spirit loose here at Cornerstone! |

Thank you to each one who helped to make our PRIDE/Father's Day Brunch a success. We always have a wonderful time of fellowship together and this was no exception. I also want to thank those who stepped up to fill in for me allowing me to be with Kay as she is hospitalized. You are all a great blessing to us! |
