| Scripture: Luke 1:26-33
When we speak of the faithfulness of God, we are usually talking about what we know from experience. We are remembering events or seasons in our lifetime that have proven God’s faithfulness. We say God has been faithful here and here and here. But have you ever considered that God’s faithfulness to you predates you? Before you came into existence, the faithfulness of God was already at work — and in ways that would benefit you. In the same way, God’s faithfulness to you will outlive you. Join us for our second Sunday in Advent as we delve into God's faithfulness.

All of our Seeds of Faith and Foundations of Faith participants are invited to a Holiday Pajama Party (Parent's Night Out!) on Friday, December 13 from 5-9PM. We will have food, fun games, cookie decorating and a Bethlehem Escape Room for a fun night of fellowship. Parents can drop off the kids and get that last minute shopping done, enjoy a relaxing dinner, or whatever they need while we entertain the youngsters. If you would like to donate toward the cost of the evening, please see Pastor Sara.

| Christmas Cookie Exchange |
Our Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange is scheduled for Sunday, December 22 from 6-8PM. Bring a dozen or two of your favorite Christmas goodies to share. We will have music, coffee, hot chocolate, cider, and a special visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus! Each person that visits with Santa will receive a special treat! |

Our Cornerstone Post Office is hanging in the rear of the Sanctuary. If you wish to exchange Christmas Cards with fellow church members and friends, please place the card in the appropriate box (according to the letter of how the card is addressed). Our Foundations of Faith is sponsoring our Community Outreach Project this month through our Giving Tree. The tree is located in the foyer and is covered with wish lists from a non-profit in our community that supports unwed parents. Their wish list includes items needed to welcome a newborn into the world much like the Baby Jesus was welcomed in Bethlehem so many years ago. Please take a list and pick up a few items to help them adjust to their new roles as parents.

| General Conference 2025 Early Bird Registration |
The 2025 conference will definitely have a retreat feel lasting 3 days instead of our typical 5 or 6 day conference that co-mingled business with worship and learning.
All of the great aspects of communal worship, learning together, networking with other churches, learning from MCCers around the globe are at the forefront of the Transformational weekend. Since the business meeting will have occured the first weekend in June, this creates a perfect opportunity for many members of your congregation to retreat together by using the information shared/learned during the weekend to begin envisioning for the future of your church.
ANYONE can attend General Conference 2025 transformational weekend. You do not need to be a member of an MCC Church. In addition to clergy and lay delegates, all ministry leaders, staff, board members, musicians, regular congregants, visitors and friends are encouraged to register and participate. Please take advantage of the Early Bird Rates and save $75 on each onsite registration! We ask that you share this information with your church community via your newsletters, during worship, social media or by any other means you use to keep your church family informed.
