Scripture: Matthew 10:24-39
Do you remember what it was like growing up in your father’s house: the questions, the struggles, the fears, the hopes, the dreams, the failures and doubts, the relationships? I remember it as clearly as if it was yesterday. Do you know why? Because it was yesterday and it is also today. Growing up isn’t about only kids. It’s a lifelong process and growing up at any age, at every age, is just hard work. I think that’s what Jesus is getting at in today’s gospel. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Father's Day and PRIDE by looking at the question, "Who are you?"

Spirit Seekers 26 is our corporate prayer initiative for the year. We are focusing on praying for the Holy Spirit to pour out gifts of hospitality, forgiveness, peace, unity, compassion and generosity on our church. Take a slip of paper from the boat on the altar and pray for that specific gift for a month. Then, swap it out for another gift. Let the Spirit loose here at Cornerstone! |

| Celebration Sunday; Brunch Church Edition |
Sunday we will celebrate PRIDE and take time for honoring all the fathers in the congregation by enjoying a time of fellowship together with our Father's Day Brunch. We will hear a short sermon and then enjoy the buffet line during our Praise & Worship time. Come celebrate with us! |
