Vision: To lead a two day church conference for church leaders. The focus would be to encourage pastors, deacons and lay people in the church to be actively involved in the mission of the church by living that out within and beyond the walls of the church on Sunday. This will focus on practical ways to reach their community and those beyond with the love of Christ and the gospel. During this conference there will be sessions led by the USA team with men, women and children in different groups. We will focus in the men and women’s sessions on practical ways to disciple believers; reach the community with the gospel and minister to needs of the community. We will have another group that will work with the kids through bible stories and activities. We will also be handing out MAMA Kits and AIDS/HIV care buckets along with sharing the gospel in different villages. The team’s goal is to share practical ways to build the church through discipleship and ministry and then modeling that as we are the hands and feet of Christ. We will be flexible in how ever God chooses to use us on this trip. Allow God to use you and the gifts he has given you to encourage and bless others.
Overview: We need to encourage Ugandan believers with practical ways to disciple, minister and sharing the gospel in a way that point’s to Christ and not themselves. We need to lead them in understanding that a healthy church is outwardly focused on bringing others to a relationship with Christ through showing Christ love and sharing the gospel; and then discipling those new believers and getting them involved in the church. We also want to love on Ugandans by being the hands and feet of Christ and working alongside them to share the gospel in villages.
Price: $3715 Includes airfare, housing, meals and transportation per person but the price may fluctuate depending on the price of fuel at the time of purchase of airline tickets. Application plus 10% non-refundable deposit required before team airline reservations can be made.
