PRAISE POINTS
We are thankful for growth in our youth ministry. Several young people have participated in various camps and discipleship activities, and five were baptized at Aldersgate Camp. We are filled with joy to see youth respond to follow Jesus.
Through the Trauma, Healing, and Reconciliation Retreat, people processed grief, pain, and bitterness in a safe and prayerful environment. One woman shared how the retreat helped free her from anger and deep sorrow after losing her son in the fighting in Khartoum. God is not only drawing people to church, but also bringing healing to wounded hearts.
We are thankful for another major milestone this year—Pastor Samuel Dilla completed his credentialing process and was ordained as an elder at the Oregon Annual Conference. Thank you to the MEG, BOA and mentors from the Oregon conference. This means more work and dedication to the Mission of God.

We are also thankful that some members have stepped forward to help with our children's ministry. This is an important ministry because it helps children come to know God at an early age. We are grateful for these young volunteers who are willing to serve and care for the youngest members of our church.

We have someone with drumming experience coming on Sundays to coach our youth in drumming. We do not have many trained musicians, so our praise and worship is supported by basic African drumming and hand shakers. Some of the youth have learned quickly, and we believe they will eventually be able to train others.
