| You're Not The Boss Of Me! |
Scripture: Matthew 21:23-32
God is not the boss of us. God is our author. Every day God authorizes us to enter and sends us into the vineyard, to act in this world with godly authority and on God’s behalf through the gifts that have been bestowed upon each one of us. True authority always comes from within. It is an interior God-given quality not an exterior circumstance. Come worship with us on Sunday as we spend some time exploring the subject of authority.

Spirit Seekers 26 is our corporate prayer initiative for the year. We are focusing on praying for the Holy Spirit to pour out gifts of hospitality, forgiveness, peace, unity, compassion and generosity on our church. Take a slip of paper from the boat on the altar and pray for that specific gift for a month. Then, swap it out for another gift. Let the Spirit loose here at Cornerstone! |

Our Building Ministry Team will be working to prepare the windows and exterior of the sanctuary for painting. The next three Saturdays they will need volunteers with some painting, caulking or carpentry experience. We will start at 8:00 and wrap up as the work is completed. |

The theme for our Celebration Sunday on October 4 is Soups, Stews, and Salads. Bring your favorite, join in the fellowship and lend your hands to the Hospitality Team as they welcome everyone to our Freeman House. |
