Church Family,

We had the pleasure of worshipping with Drew Miller and family as they led us in worship through song.

This Sunday, we are having our friends Caleb and Jess Holtz back to lead us in worship through song.

Caleb and Jessica hail from Columbia, Tennessee. They have been married for 6 years. Caleb is the worship pastor at Connection Church Mt. Pleasant and has been leading worship in some fashion for over 15 years.

When they’re not working they enjoy tending the garden and taking care of their chickens as well as relaxing with their dog.

Please join with us as we continue to pray about who God desires to be our next Worship Pastor. Pray for Caleb and Jess, for their ministry, and for the weekend.  We want to keep our mind's attention and heart's affection on Jesus no matter who leads the singin' and who does the preachin'.

I can't wait to see y'all.

Cheers,

Our Power House students are excited about Jesus and hungry for God’s Word, so much so that three times a week together doesn’t feel like enough. This past Friday, a group of student leaders and interns gathered on their own for a Bible study, choosing to pour into one another after spending so much time pouring into others.

“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). This is exactly what we’re seeing, students growing stronger in their faith as they sharpen and encourage each other.

On Saturday morning, a group of high school guys also took the initiative to meet at Chick-fil-A for their own Bible study. With the help of one of our adult leaders, Stewart Parker, they are walking through the book of Romans together. It’s incredibly encouraging to see students who aren’t being pushed into this, but are instead pursuing God’s Word because they want to know Him more and live out their faith.

All of this is a powerful reminder that God is at work in our students in ways that go far beyond scheduled programming. When students begin to seek Scripture on their own, build spiritual community intentionally, and hunger for truth, it’s evidence of real discipleship taking root and we are grateful to witness what God is doing among them.

Little ones grow fast, and we want to pause and celebrate the gift God has given your family. Child Dedication is a special moment for parents to say, “We’re committing to raise our child to know and love Jesus,” with the church family cheering you on and praying alongside you.

If you’re thinking about dedicating your child, join us for a Child Dedication interest meeting after church on February 15th. We’ll share what dedication is all about, what it's not, what to expect, and how we get to walk this faith journey together.
