Welcome to Cornerstone MCC! 

We are living and sharing God's love in Christ for all by practicing radical hospitality, passionate worship, intentional discipleship, risk-taking outreach and service, and extravagant generosity. Love is our core value!

Our Worship Services begin at 10:45am on Sundays. We also live-stream via our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

What Are You Wearing?

Join us on Sunday for special guest speaker Rev. Marge Ragona, our founding pastor. Rev. Marge is a biblical scholar and church historian who has spent a lifetime in God's service. We will be celebrating her 96th birthday with refreshments following the service. Everyone is encouraged to bring a birthday card expressing your love and good wishes.

Board of Directors Meeting

The Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting after worship on June 29. All are welcome to attend.

Vacation Bible School

Our Outback Rock Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 10-11 from 8:00AM to 2:00PM both days. There will be times of learning, games, and lots of food and snacks! Please complete a registration form by June 29 to insure each child's needs are met. We are accepting donations for sponsorship ($25/child) and volunteers are needed to help out. Please speak with Kay Hedgepeth or Alicia Mayo if you can offer assistance.

Membership Inquiry Class

Pastor Sara invites all who are interested in church membership to join them for lunch after worship on July 20. This is an opportunity to enjoy a meal and talk about our religious experiences. Attendance does not mean you have to join the church if you aren't ready.

Take 5 in 25'

Our Take 5 in 25 Prayer Initiative continues to reap good reports from across our congregation. You are encouraged to take a list from the basket on the altar and to pray for the five people on it throughout the month.

Foster Care Needed

Did you know that LBTQ+ children and teenagers are the largest group seeking families to offer them foster care? If you can provide a safe space for an LGBT+ child, please contact Amy McBride at 251-680-3630. YOU can make a difference! 

Ministry Notes

Our Ministry Highlight this week is our Safe Campus Ministry Team.

This team provides security for all planned church campus activities.

Individuals who are comfortable working behind the scenes to protect others will find a place of service in this ministry.

Team Leader Carl Jackson is currently seeking one or two people to serve as the “observer” during worship, especially when he is in the Freeman House as part of a Seeds of Faith teaching pair. The observer occupies a place near the back of the sanctuary and takes note of anything out of the ordinary. If a situation arises, the observer acts to control it with other members of the team.
