We as a church value strong marriages (and relationships moving toward marriage). With that goal in mind, we wanted to share a couple of resources with you all.

First, a free marriage & pre-marriage assessment. WEFC has purchased an access code to allow all couples (dating, engaged, and married) access to the Prepare/Enrich Couple Checkup. See below for more details on that assessment.

Second, Weekend to Remember. We are also inviting all married couples to attend the Weekend to Remember put on by FamilyLife. "At the intersection of a faith-based marriage conference and romantic retreat from everyday life, Weekend to Remember helps couples choose oneness. Whether you’re sending up an SOS for marital rescue or looking to foster an already flourishing connection, Weekend to Remember is your best next step toward being, and staying, one."

More about the Assessment:

Couple Checkup is an online assessment tool. It is meant to be a fun, easy way to take a closer look at your relationship, increase your relationship strengths, and above all - spark meaningful conversation between you and your partner. 

How to access the Assessment:

Both of you will need to take the assessment separately but at close to the same time for the best results.

Assessment Results:

Attached to this email is a sample report similar to the one you will receive. The church will NOT receive your results. If you would like more information on your results, Pastor Bruce is certified with Prepare/Enrich to help interpret the assessment and is willing to meet with any couple that would like help with reading their assessment or first steps to take as a follow up. 

The FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember® is a two-and-a half-day marriage getaway designed to help you nurture and grow your relationship based on God’s design. You’ll
listen to engaging talks by married couples who teach practical, biblically centered concepts, engage in alone time through one-on-one couples projects, and leave the weekend with the tools you need to continue to grow in communication and intimacy with your spouse.
