Church Family, One of the things I have found that helps me in my personal life is to Automate the Important. I automate my mortgage and utility payments. I automate my Spotify membership payment. I automate my Costco renewal. I automate our generosity to church, missionaries, and other non-profits we support.
Maybe you do this too. Maybe you haven’t considered the value in automating your generosity. I’d love to encourage you to consider automating the important. At First Winter park we’re excited to share that we’re transitioning our giving system from FellowshipOne to Church Teams. This change is all about serving you better.
This new platform will make giving simpler, more secure, and easier to manage - in short, it will help you to Automate the Important. You’ll have clearer access to your giving history, more flexible recurring options, and a smoother experience overall, whether you give online, on your phone, or in person.
Our heart behind this shift is stewardship — not just of church systems, but of your time and trust. By removing friction and confusion, we’re creating space for generosity to feel joyful, intentional, and effortless. Thank you for partnering with us so faithfully. We believe this upgrade will help make generosity a natural rhythm in your life as we continue ministering to Winter Park together. Cheers, |
Years ago, Andy Taylor and Olivia Fussner were sitting together in the basement, back when Power House met downstairs. For some of you, this may be the first time you’ve even heard that we have a basement. It was there that they learned God’s Word, grew in their faith, and were shaped by gospel-centered community. Now, God is preparing to send them out to answer the call to go and make disciples. Andy and Olivia are both current students at the University of Florida, and in this season, they are stepping into mission opportunities. What began as faithful presence and discipleship has grown into a willingness to follow the Lord wherever He leads.
Andy Taylor will spend two months in Osaka, Japan, serving with the Global Outreach Team through Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM). Andy will be ministering in one of the most unreached areas of the world, focusing on relationship-building, evangelism, and discipleship alongside local believers. His work will center especially on college students, faithfully sharing the gospel in a place where very few have heard the name of Jesus.
Olivia Fussner will spend 10 days in Spain serving through Salt Company, participating in local missions and evangelism efforts. Olivia’s heart for people and passion for sharing Christ have led her to serve in a culture where spiritual interest is often low and gospel presence is deeply needed. Her team will work directly within the community, supporting local ministry and boldly living out the hope of Christ. |
Both Andy and Olivia are currently building Support Teams—groups of people who partner with them through prayer, encouragement, and financial support. This is a meaningful way for our church family to participate in what God is doing far beyond our local context.
If you are interested in supporting Andy or Olivia, or would like to learn more about joining their Support Team, I would be glad to help you get connected with them directly. Please feel free to reach out to me at bstamps@fbcwp.org. Thank you for being a church that celebrates what God is doing, sends faithfully, and partners joyfully in the work of the gospel. |
Little ones grow fast, and we want to pause and celebrate the gift God has given your family. Child Dedication is a special moment for parents to say, “We’re committing to raise our child to know and love Jesus,” with the church family cheering you on and praying alongside you.
If you’re thinking about dedicating your child, join us for a Child Dedication interest meeting after church on February 15th. We’ll share what dedication is all about, what it's not, what to expect, and how we get to walk this faith journey together. |

Our church community is thriving in 2026! Sunday morning, Wednesday night, and other times mid-week, our small groups are growing stronger as people connect, encourage one another, and deepen their faith together. There’s something powerful that happens when believers come together regularly: friendships form, burdens are shared, and we discover we’re not meant to walk this journey alone.
We’d love for you to be part of what God is doing in our midst. Whatever you are looking for there’s a place for you here. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to grow alongside others who are seeking to follow Jesus more closely. Join us because life is better together, and we’re stronger when we’re connected.

Dear Church Family,
We are excited to share that we are ready to launch our new online giving platform through ChurchTeams. This updated system will replace our older giving platform and will also allow your Finance Team to work more efficiently. When giving online, you will notice that our On Campus account in the designation drop-down menu is now listed as General Fund.
Another helpful feature in ChurchTeams is the option to cover the transaction fees associated with online giving. If you choose to cover these fees, they will be included in your year-end tax-deductible statement. We also want to highlight that the new link to give on ChurchTeams is available below.
Please know that the Finance Department is available and happy to assist anyone who needs help setting up online giving. We are grateful for your generosity and are excited to offer this safe and simple way to give faithfully to the Gospel mission. Lisa Bowman |
