Our Worship Services begin at 10:45am on Sundays. We also live-stream via our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Scripture: Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26

Do you ever have days when you just go from one thing to the next? Sometimes they are planned appointments or errands. Sometimes they are interruptions of your plans. And often it’s both on the same day. I had a coworker who, when having this kind of day, would say, “The hurrieder I go, the behinder I get!” That’s the kind of day Jesus is having in this Sunday’s gospel. Join us for worship and discover how he handled such difficult days.

Spiritual Seekers Calendar

If you are looking for a way to go deeper in your walk with Jesus or if you are seeking a place of service...

The Journey is a prayer focus group that meets in the Sanctuary on Tuesday evenings at 6:30PM. The group always begins with a reflection on prayer and what it means to their lives. Everyone is welcome to join.

Our Community Outreach Ministers, Robert and Raya Engel, can keep you up to date with volunteer opportunities with One Meal Mobile and Love All Pantry.

Online Bible Study

Thrive is our adult education ministry and it is led by Emmie Jones. The group meets online on Monday and Saturday evenings at 6:00PM. The current study is on the Gospel of Mark. Drop in and see what is there for you and your journey.

If you missed the first few lessons, Emmie is offering a catch-up class online on Saturday evenings as well. 

Thrive Ministry Weekly Bible Study

Spirit Seekers of 26

Spirit Seekers 26 is our corporate prayer initiative for the year. We are focusing on praying for the Holy Spirit to pour out gifts of hospitality, forgiveness, peace, unity, compassion and generosity on our church. Take a slip of paper from the boat on the altar and pray for that specific gift for a month. Then, swap it out for another gift. Let the Spirit loose here at Cornerstone!

June 18 - Pride Cocktail Class at Post

June 20 - "Created Beautiful; A Pride Market & Community Festival" at Cornerstone MCC

June 27 - Prism Creates, an interactive day with local artists and makers

Celebration Sunday; Brunch Church Edition

We are holding off on our Celebration Luncheon until June 21 which is both Father's Day and our PRIDE worship service. We will be enjoying a brunch similar to our Mother's Day celebration during our regular worship hour. A sign up sheet for suggested dishes is in the coffee bar area.

A Note from Pastor Sara

I am overjoyed to announce that Emmie Jones is assuming the role of Pastoral Intern here at Cornerstone MCC. As part of her responsibilities, she will be taking on the Faith Forward Children's Ministry leadership, serving at the altar on Sundays as co-celebrant, and filling the pulpit on 5th Sundays. Please join me in welcoming Emmie to her new role and in prayer for her continued discernment of God's plan for her ministry.
