Have you ever come across a story in the Bible that makes you think, “What in the world?” or “Why is that story even in there?” Each Sunday in November, we’ll look at some of the Bible’s strangest passages and see how even the oddest parts reveal God’s nature to us and inspire and reinforce our faith. |

Here’s a glimpse of the uplifting new worship song we’ll be singing this Sunday, titled "New Wine." |

Support our troops with Blue Star Mothers NY7 Care Packages!
The Blue Star Mothers are a group of proud moms with children serving in the military dedicated to supporting our troops. They are partnering with their NY7 chapter to collect essentials and comfort items from home! The items will be used in care packages to be sent to the service members who are deployed overseas. The Vine is collecting items until Sunday, November 17. You can stop by the Welcome Center or click the button below to view the list of needed items. Please place your donations in the orange bin located near the Welcome Center. |
|
|
There is also an opportunity to help pack the care packages. Click here to visit the Blue Star Mothers website and sign up to volunteer. This is a great volunteer opportunity to do as a family.
Letters of support are always uplifting for our soldiers, and letters from you and/or your children are welcome! Thank you for your support! |

The Vine is participating in Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. For this outreach, you will fill a shoebox full of goodies and necessities. These boxes will then be shipped to children in need around the world. The amazing journey of a simple shoebox gift begins with YOU and results in evangelism, discipleship and multiplication! Pick up your shoebox this Sunday!
After you fill your shoebox, don't forget to pray for the child who will be receiving it. Please also pray for their family to be receptive to the Good News of Jesus Christ; the pastor of the church who delivers your shoebox; their community to be transformed by the Gospel.
The labels are inside the shoe boxes, and if you have never filled a shoebox before, pick up an instruction brochure located on the table, or click HERE to watch a video on what is acceptable and not acceptable to include in the boxes.
**Return your shoebox to the front of the sanctuary no later than Sunday, November 24** |

Your faith journey extends beyond Sunday mornings. Engaging in small groups for study, support, and accountability is equally important! Below are the current Vine groups that are meeting. Find one that fits your schedule and feel free to join at any time. For more detailed information about each group and to register, click the button below or contact the group facilitator.
