Our Worship Services begin at 10:45am on Sundays. We also live-stream via our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The Miracle of the Moment

Scripture: Galatians 4:4-7

Our theme this year for Advent is Experience the Miracle of Christmas. It is so easy to get all wrapped up (no pun intended) in the activity of the season that we miss the miracle of Christmas. As we begin our Advent celebration, I want us to recognize not only the significance of one moment in time but also of the strategic nature of those moments. We typically refer to the strategic nature of time as timing. And as any comedian will tell you, timing is everything! Join us as we begin our Season of Waiting for the Savior's birth and experience the miracle of Christmas in your own heart.

The calendar of events for Advent includes the following:

Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange on Christmas Eve from 5-6:30PM

Christmas Eve Worship with Lessons and Carols at 7:00PM

Outreach Ministry Calendar

Our Outreach Ministry has several opportunities for us to get involved outside the four walls of the church, and they are always looking for volunteers! The following is a monthly schedule of opportunities. 

Every Wednesday at 5pm: Tillman's Corner Outreach (Feeding the Homeless)

1st Monday of Every Month at 8am: Love All Food Pantry

2nd Friday of Every Month, 6pm-9pm: Art Walk

3rd Tuesday of Every Month at 7:30am: Love All Food Pantry

Please consider one (or more) of these opportunities to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus. 

Outreach Opportunity

Our Outreach Ministry will be collecting coats, blankets, socks and gloves for our unhoused population. Please bring any donations to the church on Sundays and the team will deliver them on Wednesdays.

Christmas Card Exchange

Our Cornerstone Post Office has returned for the holiday season for anyone you would like to exchange Christmas Cards with. Please be sure to check each slot according to your first AND last name to be sure you don't miss getting your card. 

Take 5 in 25' Prayer Ministry

We continue to reap the blessings of our Take 5 in 25 Prayer Initiative. People have reported miraculous things in their lives not only because others are praying for them, but because they are showing love by praying for others as well. Take a slip of paper from the basket on the altar and join in the prayers!

Annual Congregational Meeting

Our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday was attended by forty of our church members. We passed a conservative budget for 2026, elected Melissa Boesen and Jeannie Barton to the Board of Directors and re-elected Tony Tatum to serve as our Lay Delegate. The minutes of the meeting will be available in a binder at the welcome table, as well as on our website and Facebook page for those who want to read them.
