The Oregon Annual Conference was held last weekend at Aldersgate Camps and Retreats in Turner, Oregon. We invite you to reflect with us on the following praises and prayer requests: PRAISE POINTS
Two young women attended AC26 with no prior knowledge of what they were walking into, became genuinely engaged, and asked Lisa Brechbiel if she would disciple them — a beautiful and unexpected harvest. The surprise for Bishop Kenny went off wonderfully. Having him unexpectedly wash Mark Strong’s feet, and then witnessing Bishop Fraser put Mark’s shoes and socks back on as an act of servant leadership, powerfully modeled the posture we as leaders should carry toward one another. -
For the attenders, everything ran smoothly, and meaningful connections were made with several of our affiliated partners. These are connections we believe will bear significant fruit in the future.
- There was a real and growing sense of understanding around discipleship: what it is, and how we actually go about doing it. The excitement in the room was palpable.

PRAYER POINTS Pray that our community would not only understand the process of discipleship more deeply, but would begin to do it well, and that by God's grace, we would see a genuine disciple-making movement emerge.
Pray for the contacts made this weekend with those who have resources and a heart for ministry, that they would not remain surface-level connections, but would become deeply impactful in the future.
Pray that what we experienced and achieved together at AC26 would not only refresh and prepare us for the weeks and months ahead, but that when we look back a year from now, we would see significant fruit from the time we took to worship and seek Jesus together.
