Hey guys! On Tuesday, August 25, 6:00 pm, our Men's Ministry is getting together for a fun summer evening, and we'd love for you to join us! Bring your friends and family for a great time of food, fellowship, and games. We'll gather in Baldwin Hall around 6:30 for dinner, then enjoy cornhole and washer toss outside if the weather cooperates (if raining, we will have the games indoors). Feel free to bring your favorite game, too!

Join us for a day of fun and fellowship at the Vine Family Picnic & Worship Service on Sunday, August 30th, at the Westwood Park Pavilion. Come rain or shine, we're excited to bring our Sunday service to the park and enjoy a memorable day together.
Our worship service will begin at 11 a.m. at the Westwood Park Pavilion. After that, we'll have delicious food and plenty of time for everyone to socialize and enjoy each other's company. There will also be cornhole for the adults and fun games for the kids!
Guests are invited!! The main dish and beverages will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Please bring your food in a disposable container. No need to bring serving utensils; they will be provided.

| Scripture for Spiritual Rest this Summer (from the DaySpring Team)
A recipe for a relaxing summer afternoon: the sun’s warming rays, a cool drink, something good to read, a comfortable chair. Yet even in these moments of longed-for rest, our minds can continue to race. While we yearn for inner peace, it’s not always easy to slow our thoughts, nourish our spirit, and refill our cup. If that sounds familiar, perhaps there’s one more ingredient for true renewal and refreshment: time with God’s Word.
Being filled with true peace means being attentive to the One who created us and His desires for us. We will be sharing one scripture per week for you to focus on. Scripture #4:
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29
