Recently FMCUSA prayer leaders gathered to pray for the church. The Holy Spirit was powerfully present among them and inspired the words that were offered up in prayer. As hearts were poured out to the Lord of the Church, notes were taken regarding the themes of their prayers. Those themes are the topics for this 28 Days of Prayer we’re calling “Seeking Together…Prayers for the Church.” Join the many who will accept the call to pray every day through video prompts and prayers.
Thanks for participating. -- Bishops Kaye Kolde, Keith Cowart and Fraser Venter |

WILD 2026 WALKING IN LASTING DISCIPLESHIP Camp may be a wrap for 2026 -- but this was more than a moment. |
A huge shout-out to Pastor Zay Harris from Mountain View Fellowship in Redmond and the entire team of leaders who welcomed youth from across the Oregon Conference at Aldersgate Camp in July! Indeed, this was... more than a moment! Read on to hear their heart and passion!
|
One day, Pastor Zay was thinking about camp. After 17 years of doing camp ministry, he wanted to make sure this year wasn't simply about doing what was easiest. He wanted to ask a bigger question: “Lord, what are You calling us to do?” And then… an idea. Instead of taking the easy route and simply joining another camp, Pastor Zay saw a need within our conference: Camp needed to happen. There were churches with students but no dedicated youth pastor. There were youth pastors with a heart for camp, but not enough students to justify putting on a camp of their own. So what if we brought everyone together??... AND CAMP WILD WAS BORN.
It took an incredible collection of pastors, youth leaders, volunteers, churches, and students coming together to make it happen. We were blessed to have: Carlos Gallo — Leading Worship, Jesse Wilson — Camp Speaker, Jessica Broich & James Metzler — Workshop Leaders, Isaiah Unger — Camp-Wide Games. And alongside them, Pastor Sam Dilla, Elizabeth Jimenez, Pastor Mario, Pastor Luke, Pastor Gabe, Pastor Emily, and so many others poured their time, energy, gifts, and hearts into making Camp WILD possible!
And it wasn't only the camp leaders. Churches fundraised and promoted. Leaders recruited. Volunteers served. Students showed up. It truly became a collective effort—and that's something we are incredibly grateful for.
So… what does WILD mean? WALKING IN LASTING DISCIPLESHIP. Because we don't want our students to simply have a moment with Jesus. We want that moment to become a movement. We want students to leave camp knowing that their faith in Jesus is for MORE THAN A MOMENT. It ought to shape the way we live. And it ought to become a walk in Lasting Discipleship. That's the heart of CAMP WILD. And now, we want to invite you (who are still reading this!), to be part of what comes next.
1. CHECK OUT THE CAMP RECAP VIDEOS! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v-I6VcvYPYHA-OB_mtJQg2Ow2hEet1yj/view?usp=drivesdk See the worship, the games, the laughter, the friendships. SEE WHAT GOD DID.
2. JOIN US NEXT YEAR! Oh yeah… Camp WILD is coming back. 3. PRAY WITH US: Pray that the Lord continues to show us how we can reach, love, disciple, and walk alongside the youth of today, because Camp WILD isn't ultimately about a week. It's about students walking away from a moment with Jesus, and choosing to walk with Him for a lifetime. |
