The Miracle of the Manger |
Scripture: John 1:1-5, 9-14
As we consider the birth and life of Jesus Christ in this Season of Advent. There is a question of identity. Who exactly is this child we find in the manger in Bethlehem? John's Gospel describes for us in beautiful and poetic imagery this miracle of the manger. We may ask ourselves, “Could He be who He claims to be?”. What do you believe about this child born in Bethlehem? What if His claims are true? Think for a moment about the incredible implications. What if there is that awesome Someone who knows your name, who knows when you are sleeping, and knows when you're awake? And yes, He knows when you've been bad or good, and yet, He loves you and longs for you to know and love Him.

Spiritual Seekers Calendar |
Our Monday night Bible Study is taking a break through the holidays but will begin again in the New Year.
The Journey is our Tuesday night prayer circle. Everyone is invited to gather at 6:30 in the Sanctuary for a time of reflection and prayer.
If you like to sing and would like to join our Worship Ministry, we rehearse on Thursday nights at 6:30 in the Sanctuary. |

We have placed a small tree at the welcome table where you can help us cut costs by giving often used items to the church this Christmas. Please take an "ornament" or two and bring your gifts to the church on Sundays during the holiday season. |

| Outreach Ministry Calendar |
Our Outreach Ministry has several opportunities for us to get involved outside the four walls of the church, and they are always looking for volunteers! The following is a monthly schedule of opportunities.
Every Wednesday at 5pm: Tillman's Corner Outreach (Feeding the Homeless) 1st Monday of Every Month at 8am: Love All Food Pantry 2nd Friday of Every Month, 6pm-9pm: Art Walk 3rd Tuesday of Every Month at 7:30am: Love All Food Pantry Please consider one (or more) of these opportunities to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus. |

| Join our Outreach Ministry at Art Walk on Friday, December 12th from 6pm-8pm as we tell people about our amazing church and God's inclusive love!

Outreach at Love All Food Pantry |
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 16 for our Community Outreach Ministry volunteer opportunity at the Love All Pantry. We meet at the pantry between 7:30am-8:00am. Delivery drivers and food box packers are needed on Tuesdays. |

Our Cornerstone Post Office has returned for the holiday season for anyone you would like to exchange Christmas Cards with. Please be sure to check each slot according to your first AND last name to be sure you don't miss getting your card. |

Faith Forward Christmas Party |
Our young people will be celebrating the holidays with a Christmas Party at CiCi's Pizza on Tuesday, December 23rd at 6pm. Donations are being accepted to help cover the cost of the kids and teachers. If you are interested in donating, please see Kay Hedgepeth or Alicia Turner. |

We have been praying for one another throughout the year, and lives have been changed through our prayers. If you haven't already done so, please take a list from the basket on the altar and join us in this transformative effort.

| Author Reading and Q&A with Nico Lang |
Mark your calendars for Thursday, January 8th at 6:30pm, as we host author Nico Lang. Nico will be reading from his book, "American Teenager; How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era" and will also be doing a Q&A session. Light refreshments will be served.
