Camp Details

CELL PHONE POLICY:  This year for camp, all students must leave their cell phones at home. Any student who brings a phone will be asked to give it to their student ministry director, it will be silenced and placed in a secured suitcase. If a student is caught with a phone, they will be sent home.

  • Flip flops/sandals and old tennis shoes and bring an additional pair of shoes in case one gets muddy or wet
  • The camp has a swimming hole at the spring/creek. We recommend water shoes if students wish to participate in that activity.

  • Snack Shack spending money (students shouldn't need more than $50)

ITEMS TO LEAVE AT HOME

  • It is best to leave phones and other expensive items at home.
  • Leave your phone and electronic devices at home. Leaders will place all student phones in a lock box at the beginning of the week and they will only be returned at the end of the week. Rest assured, if something happens or your child wants to call, we will let them. The goal is to avoid as many distractions as possible.
  • Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vape pens, fireworks, matches, lighters, knives, guns, or weapons. Bringing these will result in students being sent home.
  • T-shirts with inappropriate messages or obscene material

SNACK SHACK:  We will provide a snack shack outside the worship center that will be open throughout the week. Students may use cash to purchase snacks. You may open a snack shack account during drop off. Funds left in this account when camp ends will go towards future camps.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES:  Students will choose their activities each morning at breakfast. We will provide a list of activities in the camp book. Some activities require sign ups while others are first-come-first-serve (like the pool or creek). Be sure to sign up each morning for what you want to do!
