The Parable of the River

Scripture: Matthew 13:3-9, 13-15

Have you ever had experiences or expectations that color your perception of what is going on in the moment?  It’s hard to not let things color your world.  But sometimes we just won’t let go of the delusion we have created in our own mind, until it’s too late, and we are drowning.

Join us this Sunday for “The Parable of the River” where I almost lost my life, but I gained some divine lessons that I will share with you.

~ Jeannie Barton

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

We invite you to join us this week for the "Week of Prayer for Christian Unity".

Taking place between January 18th and January 25th, this week is intended to bring together Christians from different denominations to pray for unity among the church. This event began in 1908 by Father Paul Wattson, an Anglican priest. He wanted to create an event that promoted unity among Christians and to encourage cooperation between different denominations. This event was officially recognized by the Vatican in 1965 and is now celebrated by Christians around the world.

Please join us in prayer this week as we pray for unity not only in our church, but in our community, our nation, and within each other.

Spirit Seekers of 26

Spirit Seekers in 26 is our communal prayer initiative for the year. We are intentionally praying for six aspects of the Spirit to be made manifest in our church. They are Unity, Peace, Hospitality, Generosity, Compassion and Forgiveness. Take a slip of paper from the altar and pray for that specific aspect for each month.
