| Scripture: Matthew 25:1-13
As Jesus neared the end of his ministry, he wanted his disciples to be prepared for the time when he would no longer be with them. But he was also preparing them for something more. He was preparing his followers for the fulfillment of God’s promised kindom, for “the end of the age.” We have all of the information he shared with them at our fingertips. But I wonder if we are paying attention and preparing ourselves. If not, then what are we waiting for? Join us on Sunday as we continue to move through the Gospel of Matthew. There's much left to discover!

| Ministry Team Focus & Spotlight |
Our Ministry Teams are designed to provide opportunities for individuals with a variety spiritual gifts and natural abilities to get more fully engaged in the life of the church. We currently have twelve teams that function together to minister both inside and outside the walls of the church building. Each team is led by someone that has felt a call to facilitate their specific area of ministry. The team leaders meet together on occasion to share their challenges and accomplishments. Working in collaboration across team responsibilities allows our teams to further enhance their effectiveness.
The Building Ministry Team provides for the overall care and maintenance of all campus buildings and the filling and draining of the baptistry when necessary. Individuals that are handy with tools and have a knack for minor repairs around the house are made for this ministry. Team Leader Paul Diaz is seeking help with a handful of projects currently including sheetrock work inside the sanctuary and preparing the exterior of the sanctuary windows for painting. If you can help with labor or costs for these projects, please let him know.
The Grounds Ministry Team provides for the overall care and maintenance of all campus exterior areas. Individuals that have a green thumb and love to do landscaping are exactly what this ministry needs. Team Leader Kent Dueitt has a small crew to do the routine tasks but is always looking for help with seasonal tasks like raking leaves, power washing, planting beds, etc. If you are interested in this type of work, please let him know.
